Food Redistribution

Surplus food, rescued and delivered where it's needed most.

About This Activity

From Surplus To Supper

We partner with supermarkets, wholesalers, farms and food manufacturers to recover quality surplus, excess and donated food before it goes to waste, then distribute it directly to schools, clinics and community centres.

Every recovery is managed through our food-safety procedures: donations are inspected, recorded, sorted and stored appropriately before reaching our network of community partners.

This is the lowest-cost, highest-impact activity in our model: it turns food that would otherwise be wasted into immediate relief for families who need it today.

Volunteer sorting rescued surplus produce

How It Works

  • We build ongoing relationships with local supermarkets, wholesalers and farms.
  • Surplus food is collected on a regular, scheduled basis.
  • Food is inspected, sorted and stored to food-safety standards.
  • Safe surplus is delivered directly to schools, clinics and community centres.

Who It Helps
